I literally StumbledUpon this post from a blog, and found some applications that were very interesting. All of these are web applications and tools that function in the cloud. E-cigs, Electronic cigarettes, or e-cigarettes, as they are called, are everywhere on the internet. I first saw one on a banner ad on a website, and decided to check out what they were. I had no idea that there are so many companies that offer this type of technology. Have you heard of electronic cigarettes.

About Electronic Cigarettes

I am not claiming any of these things, but I have found that there are many statements made about these new e-cigs, and amongst them are many claims to be a cheaper healthier alternative to smoking.  I haven’t found much difference between the many companies who make these electronic, smokeless cigarettes, but here are some of the claims that most of them make:

• Smokeless – No second-hand smoke or chemicals
• Vaporized liquid nicotine – no chemicals
• Makes it easier to control nicotine levels which helps to quit smoking
• Rechargeable batteries
• Cheaper than regular cigarettes
• A wide variety of flavors

I am not sure how satisfying these cigarettes are to smokers, or how effective they are in quitting smoking, but they do seem much healthier and cleaner for the environment.

If you are looking for a place to store files that you want to share with other people, sync with other computers you use, and be able to access anywhere online, you should try Dropbox. One of the best features is that it is FREE! You get 2 Gigs of storage just to sign up, and you can earn up to 8 Gigs of storage when you refer friends to sign up for the service too.

I have been using Dropbox for a couple of months now, and it is pretty nice, you can sync your files between computers and share certain folders with other people, so it is a great way to give others access to files that you want to share. You can also use Dropbox on your iPhone, Android or iPad too.

If you need more storage than 8 gigs for backup or sharing, you can also upgrade your account to 50 gigs or 100 gigs for $9.99 or $19.99 a month.
